With 12 years of communications experience within the technology, entertainment, nonprofit and government sectors, Bill has managed high-profile thought leadership campaigns and corporate communications programs for both Global 2000 companies and emerging start-ups. Bill's domain expertise spans Web/enterprise 2.0 technologies, IT infrastructure, information security, digital media and consumer technology. At the Bateman Group, he leads the teams supporting TIBCO Software, The Open Group, Baynote and ClearApp, Inc.

Prior to joining the Bateman Group, Bill was vice president of business development for an integrated entertainment and branding company called Zoup-ah! Before that, he worked as an account lead at Silicon Valley-based marketing and PR agencies A Good Seed Production, Blanc and Otus (a Hill & Knowlton Company) and Niehaus Ryan Wong. Prior to entering technology, he served as deputy AIDS policy advisor for San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr. Before that appointment, Bill served as the director for a nationally known nonprofit, Health Initiatives for Youth, where he managed an innovative adolescent services program for high-risk youth.
