Two Offices, Two Oceans For Our Q3 Offsite

Every quarter, Bateman Group takes a company-wide trip out of the office to have some fun, get to know each other better and celebrate our successes. As a company that invests in team and believes good work never goes unnoticed, we know a little break from our daily work goes a long way. Despite the time difference and opposite coasts, our employees in San Francisco and Brooklyn embarked on similar adventures to take to the high seas.

The Brooklyn crew boarded the Schooner Adirondack from Chelsea Piers. Armed with plenty of sunscreen for a summer-like sunshine, we nestled in near the captain and began our journey onto the Hudson River. Sipping on rosé and local beers, we sailed past Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and viewed the beautiful skyline from the New York Harbor. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the picturesque views and delightful company.

Meanwhile, our San Francisco crew set sail on the 82′ Schooner Seaward. Many of us set the sails and tacked the ship, keeping us on course for an amazing trip. On a crispy fall day, the sun came out, the winds carried us, and sea life frolicked for our amusement, including seals bobbing verticals in the bay. We sailed around the bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge, giving us outstanding views of San Francisco and Marin.
